News 07/07/08: Don just won the Star Search contest on Lake 94.7 Radio Station. His song “Ode to the 9th Ward” will be played there for one year and he won a contract with a famous agent.

Don Barry releases his new CD "Retro News," a compilation of great songs previously unpublished until now. These songs came from the golden age of the New Orleans music scene of the 70's and 80's when the sounds of blues and rock were still being fused into the internationally acclaimed style it is today.
